Mixenden Children's Centre is one of three sites run by Sure Start North Halifax who have a service level agreement with Ash Green Community Primary School. It opened in 2004 and operates from Ash Green Community Primary School at the upper site. The full day care provision is situated within the school's Foundation Stage unit.
