Established since 1986, Young Haymakers Kindergarten and Montessori Nursery School opened at the current premises in 2004. It operates from a converted barn on the outskirts of Waldron, near Heathfield. A maximum of 20 children may attend at any one time. The group opens five days a week during school term times. Opening times are 09.15 until 16.00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Wednesdays the opening times are 09.15 until 13.15. All children share access to a secure enclosed outdoor play area with access to surrounding fields and woodland walks. Pomoting the self-confidence and self-esteem of our children within a happy and caring atmosphere is central to the teaching and learning at Young Haymakers.
