Stepping Stones Pre-school opened in 1996 and operates from St John's church hall within Knowle Parish Church, which is located in the centre of Knowle, a suburb of Solihull. Facilities include a large hall, toilets, kitchen, storage facilities and available space in the entrance area. The group do not have use of an outdoor play facility but they use the local amenities that include walks to the shops, library and a playing field that is owned by the National Trust.
