This is a larger than average-sized primary school formed as the result of an amalgamation of Beanfield Junior and Infant schools in 2005. Most pupils are White British, with only a few from other ethnic backgrounds. The proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals is below average and very few are at an early stage of learning English. A much greater proportion of pupils leave and join the school at different times than the national average. The school has designated special provision (DSP) for up to 33 pupils with statements of special educational needs and/or disabilities; these come mainly from outside the school's catchment area. There is a privately managed breakfast club, after school play scheme and holiday club in the school. These are inspected separately. The school has an Active Mark award and an accreditation for good quality Early Years Foundation Stage provision.
Don't forget that childcare vouchers are available to help fund your children's daycare.
