The state of education in 2008
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008It is often difficult to see the big picture when talking about Ofsted. So this is the first of a few posts that will take a broader look at the inspection judgements we have in our database. The following chart shows a summary of the 40,000 new-style Ofsted reports that have been published over the past 2 - 3 years:

The chart shows that there is a relatively small number of “Outstanding” nurseries and a relatively high number of “Inadequate” secondary schools. Also of note are the high number of establishments hovering around the “Satisfactory” grade.
